How to Update Your Mac OS: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Check for Updates
1.1. Click on the Apple menu icon () located in the top-left corner of your screen.
1.2. Select "System Preferences" from the drop-down menu.

Step 2: Download Updates
